Making the world a better Place!

Make the world a better plaeMy kids and friends often say they’d like to make a world a better place. I ask how does one make a difference. I watched “The Starfish Throwers,” and saw how a person can make a big difference.

I’d like to find a cause to devote my time to, but am conflicted because there are so many things that need to change to make our world better.

Do you have an idea of the one thing that will accomplish this? If so, please divulge your ideas.

Thank you.

I’m going to write a story and would like you to comment on my theme if you have time.

What if humanity somehow got hold of a replication device that was so cheap everyone could have one, and with it people could replicate anything they wanted including food, animals, clothing, cars, etc, etc, so there was no longer a need for anyone to work? Would you oppose the government giving a replicator to every citizen?

Your local non-profit organizations all need volunteers. Call them!

  2. This is a great site and blog Joe. Our speaker yesterday at 1st UU of Detroit talked about how we can make a difference just by connecting to people in our individual ways. You’ve done it here.

  3. Steve Healey says:

Put women completely in charge of running everything. reverse the roles of men and women and turn it into a matriarchal society. Women will not send the husbands and sons off to war.

  4. Lucielle Pavelkaq says:

Let’s make the world a better place. Let’s stop giving welfare and food to the people who don’t really need it (the drug dealers, people who just don’t want to work, and the individuals who don’t want to accept responsibility for their lives) and just give it to those who have really fallen on hard times. The ones that truly appreciate it, and don’t abuse our government.

Be kind. Always. You already affect change on the world through your writing, art, and giving nature. You touch the world one person at a time.

  6. Shirley says:

Saving the world leads to despair. Being kind to the person in front of us brings joy to both.

[…]Funny how desire to “vote conscience” seems heavily correlated with latest polls. If Trump dropped to 20, lots of “consciences” would ping.[…]
